Wels, November 27, 2025: The Austrian Consumer Information Association (VKI) tested numerous products available on the Austrian market in its latest large-scale natural yogurt test – with outstanding results for Schärdinger: Schärdinger natural yogurts achieved two podium placements, and Schärdinger Bergbauern Natural Yogurt was even named test winner in the yogurt category with 3.2–4% fat.

The farm collection fee originates from a time when many dairy farmers still brought milk churns to a collection point, from where the dairy would then pick up the milk. Larger dairy farmers were able, by paying a so-called farm collection fee, to have their milk collected directly from their farms. Many farmers made use of this service once they produced enough milk to qualify for on-farm collection.
