World Cheese Award 2012

Yet another triumph for Berglandmilch:
Four-time winner at the 2012 World Cheese Awards

The World Cheese Award is the world's largest cheese competition. The awards ceremony took place at the beginning of December 2012 with record attendance in Birmingham. 2,781 cheeses from 30 countries took part in the challenge. The panel of experts, comprising 250 individuals from 20 countries, had very high standards this year and only awarded prizes to thevery best cheeses. Austria submitted 72 of its cheese specialities, 23 of which received awards.

Berglandmilch stood out among these Austrian award-winners, winning gold once and bronze three times:

The organisers emphasised the superior quality of the cheeses vying for the jury's recognition, making these awards that much more significant for Berglandmilch.
